THE FLORAL PRINCESS


This was a kingdom of magic. Flowers with different colors flourished better than any other place in the world.


Fairies lived on this land. They worked all day long to take care of these flowers. They put so much effort on the flowers that the flowers grow beautifully.


Every fairy was good at planting flowers, except Alice. Though she had tried her best, her flowers still looked smaller and less prettier than the other’s.


Among the fairies, Lisa was the best. She was very arrogant and looked down on the other fairies.


However, today was very important because the queen would pick up a floral princess who was very skillful in planting flowers.


“I’ll give each of you a special seed.” said the queen. “After one week, I’ll visit you again and the one who can grow the most beautiful flower will be the floral princess.”


All the fairies started to work around the clock in order to grow the most beautiful flowers.


One week passed. The land was dotted with vivid flowers.


While the fairies were exaggerating how pretty their flowers were, Alice had nothing to show. The fairies were laughing at Alice. She was very sad.


Finally, the queen arrived. She announced that the floral princess was Alice! The fairies were very shocked, especially Lisa.


The queen explained, “Before giving you the seeds, I had already cooked them; therefore, the seeds couldn’t begin sprouting.” After that, Alice is full of confidence and she could grow beautiful flowers as well.


Motto: The most precious thing in the world is not jewel but honesty.
