Boo-hoo! Where Is My Gift?!
It was Christmas Eve.
The Muppets in the Sesame Street were busy but excited.
At night everyone gathered in Big Bird’s house to celebrate. They had a wonderful feast.
During the dinner, they were talking about Santa Claus and their favorite gifts.
Most muppets believed that Santa Claus would traveled around the world and he would send everyone a gift on Christmas Eve.
But Oscar the Grouch didn’t believe that. “How stupid they are!” he thought.
Before bed time, most muppets hanged red socks beside their beds, except Oscar the Grouch.
On Christmas Day, everyone woke up happily and looked into their red socks.
“Hooray!” shouted excitedly, because their red socks were full of gifts… except Oscar the Grouch.
Oscar the Grouch didn’t see any gift around his bed. He was not only shocked but also angry. “This is not fair!” he screamed with anger.
Everyone got around him. “Why didn’t I get any gift?” said Oscar the Grouch again. His eyes were filled with tears.
The Count pointed to him and said, “You did have a gift! Look at yourself!”
Oscar the Grouch looked at himself, he was in a clean white trash can!
