Making Congee

One of my favorite winter camp activities was making congee. I helped to wash the rice. Teacher told us to fill the pot with water. My friend, Andrew, helped to cut preserved eggs into cubes. After that, we added minced pork and prepared the side dishes. We had peanut and gluten, pickled cucumber, Salty duck eggs, and other canned food. After we waited forty minutes, the yummy congee was ready. I ate three bowls. We all ate congee happily together.
