A MAGICAL TREE

Once upon a time, there was a landowner who was very rich. He had three sons, Allen, Oliver and Brian. Allen and Oliver were lazy and dishonest, but Brian was kindhearted.

Their father was very ill, so one day, their father told them, “If you can find a tree which has jade leaves, golden fruits and ruby branches, I can be cured.”

Then, he gave them some money to find the tree. Brian tried hard to search for the tree, but his brothers did nothing. Then he came to a forest.

He saw a beautiful girl. Brian asked her, “Have you seen this tree? It has jade leaves, golden fruits and ruby branches. It can cure my father.”

“Yes!” Said the girl. “I am the fairy of the tree. I have two sisters. If we dance together, we will become the magical tree.” The fairy promised to help him.

After that, Brian met her sisters, then they went home with him. After he got home, he told his brothers that he had found the tree.

However, Brian didn’t know that his brothers had their own plan. When Brian fell asleep, his brothers locked him up.

The next day, they brought the fairies to their father and told him that they had found the tree.

When the fairies heard that, they were very angry. Then they stamped their feet together. Suddenly, Allen and Oliver became pigs and ran away.

The fairies told Brian’s father everything and then they danced together. All of a sudden, a magical tree appeared. It looked like a rainbow.

Then, Brian’s father was wrapped in the rainbow.

When it disappeared, the old landowner became healthy.

Then, the fairies flew away. Brian’s father gave all his fortune to Brian.

A Dream of Angels

There was a little girl named Anna. She loved angels very much. She always dreamed that she could be an angel one day.

One night, Anna had a dream. In her dream, she went over the rainbow. There were houses made of candies and paths made of cookies.

Anna was curious, so she walked on the path. Along the way, she saw many trees which had fruits.

Anna was so hungry that she picked an apple. As she ate the apple, she suddenly became a bird.

Anna waved her wings and flew to a castle. There were many angels living there. The angels danced and sang happily in a circle.

Anna wanted to dance with them, but she couldn’t. It was because she was a bird. She became very sad.

All of a sudden, Anna saw a hunter. She felt very scared and she wanted to fly away.

When the hunter took out his gun and pointed it at Anna, she was saved by the angel.

The angels took Anna back to the castle. Luckily, the angels could speak to animals.

Therefore, Anna asked them for help. The angels gave her a glass of medicine.

After Anna took the medicine, she became an angel. She was happy to be an angel, so she danced happily with the angels.

“Anna, Anna.” Anna heard someone calling her name.

“Wake up. you’re almost late for school,” her mother said. Anna woke up and rubbed her eyes. “It’s not real. It is just a dream,” Anna said to herself.

My Favorite Holiday

My favorite holiday is Dragon Boat Festival. It’s on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar.

We celebrate it to remember a Chinese poet, Chi-yuen who loved his country very much.

The king listened to the wrong people’s advice. This made his country weaker and weaker, chi-yuen neither wanted to see his country perish nor wanted to surrender as the others had done.

So, he jumped into the river to take his own life. People were worried that the fish might eat chi-yuen’s body.

They rowed boats and threw rice dumplings in the sea that the fish would eat the rice dumplings instead.

Now people row dragon boats in races to celebrate this holiday, and it has become an international activity. Many other countries join the races and perform wonderfully.

On this day, all Chinese eat rice dumplings and balance eggs at noon.

I also send my relatives fragant, pouches made by myself.

The pouches are in the shapes of rice dumplings and filled with incense which can help keep summer diseases away.

I like this day because it is fun to see dragon boat races.

There is so much fun on this holiday and I really enjoy it.

Rola’s Dream

Rola was very tired, so she went to bed very early. She had a dream.

In her dream, she was in a snack world. In this world, everything is made of snacks. She saw pudding mountains, a chocolate river, a cookie bridge and lollipop flowers.

Though she didn’t know what this place was, she didn’t feel scared. Suddenly, she saw something moving on the ground.

She picked it up and it said, “Hey! Who is pulling my ear?” It was a cute rabbit and it could talk! Rola asked, “Do you know how to get out of this place?” “I don’t know, but maybe my friends know!”

His friends showed up. The rabbit said, “Let’s help this girl.” Then, they made a plan.

They used cookies and gummy bears to make a boat.

They also gave her strawberry bread, cotten candy pizza for food. “Thanks, I will never forget you.” Rola sat on the boat and floated on the chocolate rivet.

The boat went smoothly on the river. Suddenly, she saw a big waterfall.

She rowed and rowed and she still couldn’t stop the boat from falling off the cliff.

Finally, She woke up and it was just a dream.

The next day, she told her friends about her dream.

NOTHING IS IMPOSSBIE
Big Bird always tries his best at everything. He often says, “Nothing is impossible. It’s a matter of doing it or not. Although I’m not good at everything, I always try my best.”

Big Bird’s school held a relay race last month. Before it, Big Bird thought, “I have two long legs, so maybe I can be a fast runner.

He qualified as one of the runners and practiced with his teammates.

However, no matter how hard they tried, other teams still ran faster.

They felt frustrated and hopeless to win, but Big Bird told them, “Don’t worry. Just try your best. I believe in us.”

Finally, the day had come and everyone was nervous. “Attention, the first runner of each team. Please be ready at the starting point,” said the speaker.

After the judge set them off, the race started. Bert ran as fast as he could and passed the relay baton to Big Bird.

Big Bird surely tried his best and ran to the next runner… Suddenly, he fell down and hurt his leg.

Though being in great pain, he still passed on his baton.

Seeing the ambulance take Big Bird out of the field, his teammates had the ambition to win the race for him.

It gave them made the best team spirit and finally won the championship.

Everyone took the prize and flowers to visit Big Bird in the hospital. “Just try your best! Impossible is nothing,” said Big Bird.

What a tiring day!

Jenny

Jenny was @ introverted girl. She always did everything by herself, so she didn’t have any friends.

She wasn’t only introverted but also stupid. She always did bad on her tests and she couldn’t finish her homework on time.

One day, she got “ten” on her math test. She went back home slowly and she was scared that her mother would be angry.

When Jenny got home, her mother saw her test paper. She was very mad. Her mother said, “How terrible! Do you study hard? How stupid you are!”

Then her mother threw the test paper on the floor angrily and continued shouting at her.

Jenny ran into her room and cried, “Why? She is so mean. I just got a bad score. Maybe my mother doesn’t like me!”

She cried and cried. For a moment, she fell asleep. She had a strange dream.

She dreamed that she died and became a ghost. She was on the closet and looked at her mother. Her mother cried sadly and kept saying, “Wake up, my daughter!”

Jenny watched her mother for a long time. Suddenly, a strange wind came in the room and blew Jenny out.

Though she was a ghost, she couldn’t fly. She cried loudly.

Then she woke up and knew that it was just a dream, She thought about the dream.

Jenny ran to her mother and said, “Mom, I love you, I will do well on the next test.” Her mom said, “Baby, I love you, too.”

Steven in Wonderland

Steven was a little boy who lived in Africa. One day, while he was playing in the jungle, he saw something strange running toward him.

When it got closer, it was a big lion. He was very scared, so he ran away.

He ran and ran. Suddenly, he fell into a huge underground cave through a small hole. Luckily, he didn’t get hurt.

He looked around and he saw red, bule and yellow apples on a tree.

First, he tried the red one, and he grew very big.

Next, he tried the bule one. This time he shrank and became very little.

Then, he ate the yellow one, and he became the orginal Steven. “Hey! This is fun.” He picked some apples, and kept walking.

On his way, he saw a mean gorilla. It looked very hungry and wanted to eat Steven.

Smart Steven took out the red apple. He took a bite and grew huge.

That made the gorilla so scared and it ran away.

Then, a giant showed up and he chased him. Clever Steven ate the bule apple.

He became so tiny that the giant couldn’t find him.

Then, he saw his parents. He waved his hands and called them, but they couldn’t see or hear him.

Genius Steven ate the yellow apple. He turned into an orginal-sized boy again. He climbed out of the cave and greeted his mom and dad.
